The local government, through the forum, will communicate to the public, the business sector in particular, the initiatives on improving the environment of doing business in Butuan City. These include efforts which resulted to a streamlined Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS), the creation of the Business One-Stop-Shop at City Hall, improvement of traffic management and more focused campaigns on peace and order. On the other hand, the consultative workshop will encourage the various local stakeholders to put forth their collective ideas regarding the pressing issues currently faced by the city and their recommendations to address them, and contribute to paving the way for improved business environment leading to more and better investments in Butuan City.
